Krueger Architects has once again teamed up with interior designer Kelly Wearstler, this time for the new Ulla Johnson store in West Hollywood. Situated in the Design District on Beverly Boulevard, this marks Johnson’s inaugural store outside of New York. The store’s design pays homage to her East Coast origins while embracing a distinctive Californian aesthetic.
Wearstler integrates natural materials throughout the space’s architecture, complementing Johnson’s haute designs of bold-patterned, ready-to-wear clothing. The atmosphere is deliberately experiential, stimulating the senses with textures from custom and vintage furnishings, subtle wall coverings, unique flooring, and sculptural merchandise displays.
